Hey, I’m Frankie — your pittsburgh anime tattoo artist!
I’ve wanted to be a tattoo artist since I was 9 years old. While other kids were dreaming about what they’d be when they grew up, I was watching Miami Ink with my family and thinking — that’s it, that’s the life I want.
I started at MICA in Baltimore, but school never felt right for me. Once I got my foot in the door at a tattoo shop, I dropped everything to focus fully on tattooing.
The first years weren’t easy — I bounced between Baltimore and Lancaster, had to move back in with my parents to save money, and was always just flying by the seat of my pants. But no matter how rough it got, there was always a voice in my head saying, keep going.
Fast forward 8 years, and here I am in Pittsburgh. A new city, a new chapter, and the strongest work of my career. This feels like just the beginning.
